Being a Friend to Those Who Need It Most

We are pleased that so many BUP-clinics (Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinics) are using Småkompisar to initiate a conversation with children, teenagers and parents.
It is important to us being a Friend to those who need it most.

A few comments from BUP-clinics on how they use their Småkompisar...

Children and teenagers coming here find them irresistible! When they are restless, they have something to do with your fingers. When they are sad, they hug them. When they are angry it might happen that they throw them around! In other words, they go with all their emotions!

We have given out our "Friends" to all clinical psychologists, so that they are available on the tables. We noticed that many children pick them up and hold them. Even adults.
They are good for many uses and
to stay focused. One or two usually ends up in someone's pocket on its way home! :) Many of my colleagues just love these little Friends!

I work as a psychotherapist with adolescents. I noticed that many children like to squeeze a "little friend" when they talk about any difficult subjects.

You will find Småkompisar at BUP in Linköping, Karlshamn, Karlskrona, Mjölby, Hagfors, Örnsköldsvik, Bollnäs, Hudiksvall, Sollefteå...
